Located in Muzzano, just a few kilometers from Biella at an altitude of 580 meters, it stands on the spectacular Biellese Prealps, in the heart of the lush Elvo Valley.
Antica Cascina del Medico was renovated in 1998 following the principles of bio-architecture and feng shui.
We chose only eco-friendly materials such as wood, stone, and terracotta, and the roof insulation is made of cork. Our property ensures peaceful rest, free from negative electromagnetic influences, thanks to special patented devices that neutralize geopathic stress and to the intentional absence of televisions in the rooms. This, combined with the beneficial power of the surrounding nature, makes a stay at Antica Cascina del Medico a truly regenerating experience.
Set within five hectares of greenery—woods and meadows—our retreat features a small lake fed by crystal-clear spring water from the renowned Lauretana basin. Here, guests fall asleep to the gentle rustle of the trees and the song of birds, enveloped in a silence that speaks of a nature still wonderfully intact.
Antica Cascina del Medico offers five rooms, each with its own private bathroom and unique furnishings. The common areas—under the porticos, in the courtyard, or out in the meadows—are perfect for moments of pure relaxation during the warmer months, while in winter the welcoming lounge with its large fireplace provides a warm and cozy atmosphere.
